Aaron Ford utilises painting as a reference point when locating recurrent iconography within a historical timeline. From antiquity through to digital meme imagery, iconological tendencies such as the still-life and crucifixion permeate throughout visual culture. Ford aims to locate these established tropes and re-examine the contemporary visual language against their historical context.
