Aaron Ford utilises painting as a reference point when locating recurrent iconography within a historical timeline. From antiquity through to digital meme imagery, iconological tendencies such as the still-life and crucifixion permeate throughout visual culture. Ford aims to locate these established tropes and re-examine the contemporary visual language against their historical context.
Aaron Ford (b. London, UK, 1994) lives and works in London. He received his BA in Fine Art from Central St Martins in 2017.
